Crazy Kim Jong Min has no clue what USA means | 1 Night 2 Days Season 1

In episode 27, Jong Min is given the opportunity to showcase some of his leadership skills. After watching the whole episode, my verdict comes down to: he’s not very good. His decision making is on par with a maniac’s and his thinking process… well, it’s very questionable. So when he was faced with a sudden and ridiculous quiz, his reaction wasn't surprising - just extremely entertaining.

In the car, Hodong decided out of the blue to quiz Kim Jong Min. His one and only question: “What does USA stand for?” The question was so simple that when Jong Min asked Hodong if he really had to answer that, I was thinking the exact same thing. Yeah! Who doesn’t know that?! … Er. Kim Jong Min doesn’t.

Hodong puts pressure on Jong Min and pressed for the answer “What’s U?” Saving his butt beside him was Seung-gi whispering the answer, “United”. With the help, Jong Min gets off that one easy, and unknowing of the assistance being received, Kang Hodong is thoroughly impressed with him. Alright, so what about ‘S’? Again, Seung-gi whispers him the answer “States”. This time, Jong Min makes a very Jong Min mistake and says “Snakes” sending everyone in hysterics.

To give him a clue, Kim C asked him “You know, [what] those white things on the flag represent?” Sure of himself Jong Min nods and replies, “I know. Star!” At this point Hodong is very entertained and so am I. In the end Hodong simply asked Seung-gi to just tell Jong Min beside him the answer. Seung-gi does so carefully eyeing Jong Min to make sure he’s paying attention to every word he says.

Seung-gi: United. States.
Jong Min: State?
Seung-gi: States.
Jong Min: Isn’t it “stay”? Which means come together, right?
Seung-gi: Ugh, I shouldn’t have come on the show.
