Hey guys, I’ve returned to put some life back into my dying
blog.
Actually, I realised this blog became more popular while I
was away. I was told maybe I was the problem in the first place. I don’t see
the connection.
Oh.
Well I guess that ends this post then.
Aight, seriously. While I was absent these last few months,
I went away on a soul searching escapade... or a holiday, same difference. I
thought about a lot of things – one of these being my break life.
I thought back on what I learned while writing the article
Life in Pursuit of Education and Breaking and realised that it’s time to put
away my sneakers and put on some heels. I’m a grown woman now and I’ve lived a
part of my life in the hip hop culture. As Crazy Legs said in that article, if
you have the potential and the opportunities for a successful life, don’t close
those doors for the sake of breaking.
So right now that’s the advice I’m taking. Ya’ll know I’ll
always have breaking close to my heart. When the beat drops I’m still down. But
the transition begins now, from swag to class :)
This is not the end of this blog because I love writing for
an audience no matter how big or small. Unfortunately as you’ve probably
noticed, I don’t have perfect England, I can’t spel write and my grammaring so
bad. I suppose if people still read what I write it’s an indication it’s still
worth something.
So what exactly will this new blog be about? Probably everything, bboying
included ;) So I thank you if you do decided to stick around.
